You can delete your account yourself at any time, and it happens straight away.
Clients: open the Profile tab → Privacy → Delete my account.
Stylists: open the Profile tab → the settings (gear) icon → Privacy → Delete my account.
Type DELETE to confirm. If you have an upcoming booking, cancel it first (a payment is held for it), then delete your account.
Your profile, photos, posts and saved styles; reviews you’ve left (and, for Stylists, reviews about you); your messages and chats; follows and blocks; your Google Calendar and Instagram connections, including the tokens we stored for them; and your login, including Sign in with Apple or Google.
Past booking and payment records that UK law requires us to keep, with your name replaced by “Deleted user”, and records of the consents and acknowledgements you gave (for example a Stylist’s insurance declaration). See our Privacy Policy for how long.
Instagram: in the app, Profile → Edit Studio → Instagram → Disconnect. This deletes the token we stored. Posts you chose to copy into your portfolio stay until you delete them from your portfolio. You can also remove BLKBAR in Instagram under Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
Google Calendar: in the app, Profile → the settings (gear) icon → Google Calendar → Disconnect. This deletes the token we stored. Events BLKBAR already added stay in your calendar until you delete them. You can also remove BLKBAR at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Email team@blkbar.co from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
